How Living Your Vision® Began:
[Excerpted from Fran Fisher, MCC, creator of Living Your Vision*]
In 1990, Fran Fisher and her partner at the time responded to their own call for wholeness, balance, and fulfillment as they co-created and implemented a heart-centered, holistic process they named “Living Your Vision.”
In 1991, Fran began sharing this process with others for recognizing their heart’s desires and realizing their dreams. In 1994, with her clarity and inspiration, Fran expanded the scope of the work to share the opportunity with other professionals.
In October 1995 she facilitated the first group of individuals in the LYV Licensing Certification Program, training and licensing them to share the Living Your Vision® process with their own clients.
Today LYV enjoys an excellent track record. Licensed facilitators are required to be certified professional coaches and to have gone through the LYV program themselves. Licensing is provided through the highly respected coach accreditation program inviteCHANGE.
People Who Benefit From LYV:

- Couples that want to deepen their connection and clarify their vision for themselves as individuals and for their relationship
- Individuals who want to be part of a positive group of people who are sharing a journey of transformation and possibility
How LYV Works:
Whether working with a small group or an individual, we start with a foundation session that entails 24-30 hours of exploratory and experiential work. This most often takes the form of an on-site or off-site residential retreat over 2.5 days. For individual LYV clients, this can be also be done over a period of weeks through regularly scheduled phone sessions.
Our primary agenda during the foundational session is to connect and realign with your values and strengths; create a personal vision and purpose statement; reaffirm your guiding principles; and build a Life Map based on intentions, choices and actions for all areas of your life.
This is followed up by weekly teleconference sessions totaling 12-24 hours over a period of 10-12 weeks. These calls (group or individual) serve as a space to share successes, challenges and questions about the integration of Living Your Vision into your life. Accountability partners help ensure the changes you desire are sustainable and acknowledged.

My Personal LYV Experience:
The first time I went through the Living Your Vision® process was in July 2008. It was the initial session for my coach training program with inviteCHANGE, and I had no idea what to expect. The transformation that occurred within me was nothing short of amazing. I knew as soon as I finished the course that I couldn’t wait to share it with others.
Now, in November 2009, I’m pleased to be a licensed provider of LYV and to offer this tremendous opportunity to you!
A powerful component of the LYV process is to craft a personal vision and purpose statement. The intention was not to create a public or marketing statement; it was meant for personal reflection and affirmation. My goal as a coach and leader is to show up as authentically and transparently as possible. Because I will be asking you, as a client or workshop participant, to be open to similar exploration, it feels natural to share my personal statements with you. You’ll see that my most recent statements are very different from the first. This is evidence of the evolution I’ve undergone in the past 16 months since the process. What was true in July is still true now; if anything, I have lived into my original Vision and Purpose even more strongly. The statements I created in November are like growth rings on the original tree, representing new insights I’ve had about myself.
July 2008:
My Vision: I AM Shekhinah, dwelling place of divine expression, powerful feline grace, soft forgiving earth, wellspring of perception, humor and peace, river of deeply felt compassion and joy. Loyal Sherpa and Spiritual Midwife.
My Purpose: is to live within the questions, hold the sacred space between the words, gratefully and courageously receive and create possibility, and inspire others to fully realize their essence.
November 2009:
My Vision: I AM Sacred Space, Curious Heart, Authentic Presence.
My Purpose: is to Give, Receive, Trust, Release.
