About Sherre Hirsch
Sherre Hirsch is a rabbi, author and spiritual life consultant. Her mission is to empower individuals to be their own spiritual guides. Amazing Experience!
Hirsch you nailed the podcast. You highlighted on many issues that i encounter on daily basis. I will definitely try to pick up on tips you mentioned and fix that issues. Thanks Buelow for having her on the show. I would like to know where did Hirsch go for “10 day peace” session. I will like to try that out.
There are two issues that Hirsch mentioned in the podcast:
1) Assumtion
2) Asking for Help
I am always hestant to ask for help, and make assumtions. It would be great if there is a podcast or a book that could help me overcome these problems. As Hirsch cautioned about Hall Room, I am not looking for solution but a way to lessen assumptions and improve at asking for help.
Lastly, Facebook geek made me think about couple. If a man writes “negative” on FB, there will be high chances of having quarrel, at night, with his wife. [Laughs]
Thanks once again; subscribed. And will share with everyone (introvert and extrovert) because genuinely I have never met a person who is “completely” introvert or extrovert – As said by Hirsch.
my new, go-to-channel,
Smit
Smit, thank you so much for becoming a new subscriber! I’m so glad that you heard so much that resonated with you in this episode. As for a book that might help with assumptions/asking for help, check out “Get Out of Your Own Way: Overcoming Self-Defeating Behavior” by Goulston and Goldberg. Disclaimer: I’ve not read it! But looking at the description and reviews, it looks like it would effectively touch on various self-defeating habits (such as making assumptions and not asking for help) and offer ways of shifting them. Take a look at that (as well the “customers who bought this item also bought” on Amazon) to see if there’s something valuable there for you.
As for her 10-day peace session, I’ll have to follow up and ask her. If I get the information, I’ll circle back to post here.
Best wishes, and happy listening and learning 🙂
Peace,
Beth
