Ep117: Melissa Wadsworth Gives Small Talk Tips for Introverts
Special Note About This Episode
This is a special episode because it comes from “the vault,” the archived episodes of The Introvert Entrepreneur Podcast. Melissa was my guest back in March 2011. She offered such wonderful and timeless advice about small talk, I thought it was a perfect episode to share during a period in which I’m doing some future planning for the podcast. I mention a bit about the intention behind this brief visit to the vault in the introduction to this episode. And below, I share the questions I’m using to conduct a self-evaluation. The end result? A better podcast experience for you and for me!

Hi Beth, I’m happy you’re pulling choice selections out of your “vault”. Don’t ever feel you need to justify not creating brand new content every single time. I have a fire hose of new content and subscribed podcasts that I can never keep up with as it is. I subscribed to you at around episode 100 so I’d never have a chance to go back into your archives on my own. It helps me a lot for you to pick out some greatest hits. Enjoy the reflective time.
Jeremy, I so appreciate your comment!! Thank you! In fact, this idea of the pressure of always producing new content just came up in our virtual book group discussion. In some ways, it’s a self-imposed pressure, since as you say, there’s a fire hose of content happening that no one can keep up with. If we do a bit of recycling every once in a while, it allows everyone – including the creator – to catch up. Brilliant 🙂 Thanks for being a listener and subscriber, Jeremy!
