 Detailed Conversation Highlights

Sherry shares how writing letters of affirmation to people she never met makes her smile and has become a mainstay in her life every year near her birthday. She is what many would now consider a true ambivert. She finds both solitude and interacting with others energizing and can be anywhere on the spectrum on any given day. Her business, which focuses on the celebration of life and happiness, stemmed from a history of anxiety and depression. She discusses how happiness is often believed to simply be an inherent trait in people, but how it actually can be a methodical, mindful process. It is important to hone the natural ability of introverts to connect with their inner voice and to assume no guilt for being who they are. It is common to see people judge self-expression and interest based on extroverted frameworks. There are many different ways to experience the same moment, and none is better than the other.
