One of my favorite parts of being an entrepreneur is that I regularly meet people who have amazing dreams. They pour their heart and soul into bringing those dreams to life, regardless of naysayers or fears. It’s not that they don’t experience fear, or feel dinged by the naysayers – they just move through them in service to their dream.
Betsy Talbot of Married With Luggage is one of those people. Betsy and her husband Warren have spent the last two years traveling the world and writing about not only their adventures, but their lessons learned, challenges, strategies and insights about living out your dreams. I’ve admired them from afar and mentioned them in numerous “what kind of life do we want to create for ourselves” conversations with my husband. I also was secretly wishing either Betsy or Warren was an introvert (my bet was on Betsy, since I’d met Warren and the word “introvert” never came to mind), so I’d have an excuse to connect with them (like I need an excuse! But that’s another blog post…)
So imagine my delight when an e-mail from Betsy landed in my in-box, sharing how she’d discovered she was an introvert at the fabulous age of 41. She’d read my book, and would I be open to doing an interview with her about introverts and following our dreams? Heck ya!
